‘‘From mass rallies demanding an end to violence against women to the fight for abortion rights, Cinthia Baseler has been documenting the ‘ordinary’ women standing up for for change in Argentina. The fight began in 2015 when women took to the streets after a particularly brutal femicide to demand “Not one woman more”. It was the beginning of a new wave of feminism in Latin America. Baseler has followed the movement over the last few years – capturing the anger but also a new sense of community and sisterhood. She was there when they removed their tops in a public space for the first time and as they appropriated football culture with re-worded chants to document it from a first person perspective.’’
